Naptha & Shell Oil:

  • Naptha Oil can now be obtained from oil rocks in the Polar Region
  • Shell Oil can now be obtained from oil rocks in the Tropic region

Fixes:

  • Fixed decay on dropped spider / crocodile eggs.
  • Fixed incubation on dropped spider & crocodile eggs.
  • Fixed Thorny Dragon corpse harvesting.
  • Fixed Thorny Dragon death animation.
  • Appearance crocodile eggs fixed

Wood Catwalks
We are bringing back the Wood Catwalks!
You can now find the “Vanilla Catwalk” at the Wood Variants of the Catwalks

Rare Sightings:

  • Seahorses added
  • Unicorns no longer disappear after dawn (~20 minutes) but after 60 minutes after spawning
  • Unicorns now spawn delayed in polar night (up to 5 minutes)

Ritual Circle:

  • Dropping individual stacks using O is now possible!

Iceberg:

  • Mined resources now have a destructive mesh
  • Resource amount now depends on harvesting rate (more on boosts / events)

RA-Converter:

Now blueprints of sails & shipyards can be converted to their better versions, as usual it can happen that the stats are not shown after conversion, but they are still there, just wait for a restart and store them in a box.

Glowing Whale:

  • Luminous Substance can now only be looted by the company that also killed the whale.

Dhow:

  • Dhow moved to its own skill: Dhow Shipwright.

Junk:

  • Firework Cannons can now be placed in the gunports as well

Mortar Ship:

Mortars can now only be fired when the ship is anchored!
Unlike the ship mortar (for all ships), however, the ship does not have to be green anchored!

Large Pillars

These pillars in wood and stone are twice as big as normal pillars!

New Planks & Gunports:

  • Medium Armored Planks
    Only available as drop at Armored Briggs!
  • GlassGunports
    These gunports have a glass pane in the hatch, which allows you to see outside even when the hatches are closed.
    They cost a Glasslate in addition to the normal cost (Large cost 2) but no Glasslate for repair!!!

New ship “Red Lowe”:

This ship of the brigantine class is mainly characterized by its high and narrow construction.
It has 9 gunports on each side.
This ship also has two gunports pointing to the rear.
It consists of 4 decks and has an additional deck in the front.
It is built from 52 planks, of which 20 can be gunports.
Crew: 24
Basic weight: 17.000
Masts: 3 Large
Compatible with Firework Cannons

New ship “Armored Brig”:

This brigantine is much more resistant than the normal brig due to additional reinforcements made of metal.
Of course, her basic weight (weight of the planks) is much higher because of that, which makes her slower!
Crew: 16
Base weight: 15,000
Masts: 3 Large
Additionally we offer the Armored Brig as a mahogany version of course!

Mahogany sails:

Please pick up all mahogany sails and convert them back to Better Sails!
With this update you will have the mahogany variant for each sail to change when placing the Better Sails.
The old mahogany sails will be removed with an upcoming patch, so sails you don’t convert would disappear.

Large Sails (All):

  • Block (until next placeable sail) reduced.

New Sail Front Sail:

This sail sits in front of the ship and is rigid, so it cannot be turned into the wind.
It has an effective wind angle of 90 degrees and provides some thrust.
It can be used on Schooner, Brigantine, Galleon and Red Lowe.
For the ships Trireme & Dschunke there is a cosmetic variant (without thrust).
It does not cost any sail points and can therefore be integrated into Large Sail combinations without any problems.
This sail uses the skins of the Speedsails, if you have one you can use it for this sail too!

  • New snappoint for the Front Sail (Cosmetic)

Trireme:

  • New snappoint for the Front Sail (Cosmetic)

Reinforced Resourcechest:

  • Radiocoins can now be stored

Navy & Pirates:

With this update the fleet of Navy / Pirates will be changed significantly. Ships listed below are a potential additional spawn and so may appear with different groups.

  • Armore Brigantine:
    this Pirate and Navy ship is heavily armored, making it much stronger than the normal Brigantine.
    It also has Large Canons.
    Increased chance for blueprints of the armored brig as well as its blueprint.

– Buccaneers:

In the Buccaneers now also holds the new sailing logic, which is used in Pirates & Navy, of course, the speeds have been adjusted, but these can change a little bit & the ships behave differently!
Also the Buccaneers get a new ship!

  • Dschunke:
    This ship is relatively fast (for Buccaneers) and well armed.
    Increased chance to get parts of the junk!

General spawn behavior NPC ships:

The respawn intervals for NPC ships have been reduced.
The amount of NPC ships has been increased
Due to the additional ships, intermixed groups can occur
